Columbia, SC - Cassandra Peterson (Winston-Salem, NC) and Heather Chance (Dallas, TX) both had a season high in kills as the Lady Broncos utilized a balanced offense and defense to defeat Benedict College 3-1 (21-30, 30-23, 30-27, 30-22) in Columbia, SC.

Peterson had 17 kills and five blocks, while Chance finished with 11 kills and six blocks to pace the Lady Broncos to a victory as they improve to 20-11 for the season. Benedict fell to 17-7 overall.

The 20-11 record is the best season for Coach Elorine Hill since the 2004 season. "It's very important we continue to play well," head coach Elorine Hill said. "We are getting ready for the conference tournament and it will be to our advantage if we go into the tournament on a winning note."

The Lady Broncos close out regular season play against Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina.
