Fayetteville State Qualifies for CIAA Tennis Championships

Charlotte, NC -  The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association will host its 2018 Women's Tennis Championship from Thursday, April 19th to Saturday, April 21st. Fayetteville State University will enter the tournament ranked sixth out of eight teams with a 4-8 conference and 2-6 divisional record. The event will be held at Bowie State University's Tennis Center in Bowie, Maryland. The opening ceremony will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. The championship is free and open to the public.

The Broncos will face the 2018 CIAA Northern Division Champion Virginia State University (No. 3) following the Opening Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. The Trojans went undefeated at 6-0 in divisional play and 8-3 in the conference.

The Bowie State University Tennis Center is located on Bowie State University's campus at 14000 Jericho Park Rd, Bowie, Md.
