FAYETTEVILLE - The Fayetteville State tennis team fell, 9-0, to Chowan at Capel Courts on Tuesday. Shontana Donegan, who plays No. 1 singles for the Broncos, went three sets (4-6 6-2, 10-2) before falling to CU's Amanda Spaulding. Schanelle Ebanks won six combines games in two sets against the Hawks' Rebecca Wells, but dropped the match (6-4, 6-2). FSU is back in action on Friday when it hosts conference-power Shaw.
