The Fayetteville State University Lady Broncos tennis team cruised past the Lady Trojans of Virginia State University 9-0 to remain undefeated in regular season conference action. The win improved FSU record to 13-4 overall; 10-0 CIAA.

The Lady Broncos swept all six singles matches and out played their opponent in doubles competition to make a clean sweep. Ines Nieves at the No. 1 singles started the rout with her 6-3, 6-2 wins over Virginia State's Asye Monds to improve her streak to 17-0 for the season. The highlight of the singles matches was the match between Arie Bennett and VSU's Janat Johnson. Both played tooth-and-nail with Bennett winning 7-6, 7-6. In the tie breakers set, both continued their outstanding play with Bennett again winning 7-5 and 7-3
