Fayetteville State University's tennis program earned their fifth consecutive conference win as they defeated the Johnson C. Smith Lady Golden Bulls by a score of 9-0. FSU's win has to provide a sense of pride for Coach Elorine Hill. Coach Hill has never lost a tennis match against JCSU since tennis was introduced in the CIAA as a varsity sports for women. FSU doubles number one position began the rush against JCSU. The team of LeJacquelyn Artis and Ines Nieves defeated Johnson C. Smith's Jennifer Lee and April Lewis 8-6. After the flight win, the remaining wins appeared effortless for the Lady Broncos. Fayetteville State went on to take all six singles flights and improved their record to 8-4 for the season, 5-0 in the CIAA, and 2-0 in the Western Division. Doubles Results 1.
