Fayetteville, NC - Fayetteville State University has announced the hiring of Miguel Justiniano as the Head Softball Coach.

Coach Justiniano, who actually likes to go by "Coach Who", was an assistant softball coach for the Methodist University Softball team for three seasons. His leadership and dedication to Methodist's softball program was instrumental in the Monarchs 39-8 record during their 2006 season. Not only did his 2006 team climb to the top ten in the nation, they also captured the DIAC/USA South Championship.

"Coach Who" brings an extensive background of coaching baseball both at the semi-pro level and in the youth league. He has played professional baseball in Guam. He led an Air National Guard Women's Slow Pitch team to the Nationals prior to coaching at the collegiate level.

When asked about his upcoming plans and expectations for the team, "Coach Who" replied, "I am very familiar with the game and I plan to challenge the team daily at practice to work harder and improve on the fundamentals."

Along with assuming leadership of the Lady Broncos Softball team, "Coach Who" is currently serving in the Air National Guard as a recruiter.
