FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The Fayetteville State Broncos softball team will host a youth softball camp for the week of June 25-29.

The camp, which will be run by Broncos head coach Miguel "Coach Who" Justiniano and his staff, will take place from 9 a.m.-noon each day. Several Broncos' student-athletes will also serve as camp instructors, providing campers will expert instruction straight from a highly regarded NCAA Division-II softball program.

The camp, which is open to 8-to-18-year-olds, costs $40 for returning campers and is $50 for first-time campers. The camp will be held at Fayetteville State's home site, Leonard R. Saunders Field at Seabrook Park, across from the University's campus. Instruction will include batting, fielding, pitching and the fundamentals of the game.

Campers, who will receive a free T-shirt, are requested to have their own gloves, and can bring other equipment, such as bats. Typical softball equipment will also be provided.

Fayetteville State is one of the elite softball programs in the CIAA, having finished second or better in the league's Southern Division standings for five straight seasons.
