Miguel Justiniano Collects 100th Career Win Saturday At Livingstone
Michael Justiniano enters his seventh season at the helm as assistant softball coach. Also the school's men's and women's head cross country coach, Justiniano's main role with the softball team is hitting coach. He also works with the infielders and assists in recruiting.
A native of New Jersey, Justiniano graduated from Rancocas Valley Regional High School in Mount Holly, NJ, in 2000. Over the next two years, Justiniano went to Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA, where he played baseball and football. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Sports and Health Sciences with a concentration in Sports Coaching from American Military University in 2013 and will be pursuing his masters shortly.
Over the past six years, Justiniano has taken pride in improving his hitters' production as the season progresses. In that time span, FSU has hit .266 overall but posted a .317 mark in CIAA games.
Justiniano serves as the head coach of the Lake City Hornets, a semipro baseball team. He also plays for the team, spending most of his time at pitcher and in the infield. He also serves as the treasurer of his semipro league, where he collects fees and establishes the budget and costs associated with running the league.
He is married to Angelique Justiniano and has three children -- Daniel, Michael and Alessandra.
