Latisha Terrell joins Alysia Bruton in collecting all-conference recognition.

FAYETTEVILLE, NC - Two members of the Fayetteville State University cheerleading squad were named to the All-Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association team.
Latisha Terrell, a senior middle grade major from Henderson, and Alysia Bruton, a senior forensic science major from Winston-Salem, are each co-captains of the Cheer Phi Smoov squad. Each was honored for their work by the conference.
Members of Cheer Phi Smoov are given nicknames to symbolize their role on the team. Terrell, always smiling, was given the name "Happy." Bruton, for her ability and leadership, is called "Indispensable."
Cheer Phi Smoov is the official cheerleading squad of Fayetteville State athletics. In addition to supporting the various athletic programs at FSU, they are responsible for serving the community, as well.
The All-CIAA Cheerleading Squad consists of two superlative student-athletes from each school in the conference chosen for their leadership and athletic abilities contributing success of the team.
