Hampton, VA - Fayetteville State University had two cheerleaders named to the 2008 Football All-CIAA Cheer Squad. The two standout selections were seniors Nikita Troy-Keel and Melia Johnson. Both were apart of cheerleading team that cheered during the CIAA Football Championship Game on November 8th held in Durham County Stadium. Troy-Keel is a native of Bladenboro, NC and currently serves as a varsity captain on the 2008-09 FSU cheerleading squad. She is completing her degree in Sociology and is a member of Cheer Phi Smoov, affectionately known as #11 - Devoted. Johnson hails from Fayetteville, NC and is in her third year serving as a cheerleader. She is finishing up her degree in Criminal Justice and serves as a member of Cheer Phi Smoov, affectionately known as #87 - Resilient. The All-CIAA Cheerleading Squad consists of two superlative student-athletes from each school in the conference chosen for their leadership and athletic abilities contributing success of the team.
