FAYETTEVILLE, NC - Fayetteville State "Cheer Phi Smoov" cheerleading members Leemarvin Stilley and Zametria Moses have been named to the 2012-13 All-CIAA Cheerleading Team. The two individuals have a combined 13 years of experience in cheerleading and have shown equal success in the classroom. Stilley has been cheering for four years while Moses has cheered for nine.

Leemarvin Stilley - Junior, Bayboro, NC

Leemarvin Stilley (Jr., Bayboro, NC) is a Criminal Justice Major who plans on becoming a police officer upon graduation from Fayetteville State. Besides cheerleading, he enjoys playing basketball, swimming, watching movies and going to the gym. Stilley boasts a 2.88 GPA including a 3.0 during the fall semester.

Head Cheerleading Coach Dr. Lawanda Miller knew that Stilley had the potential to be a special member of Cheer Phi Smoov. Stilley is a dependable member of the squad, and has shown devotion and loyalty during his time on campus.

"I knew Leemarvin would have a promising future as a Bronco cheerleader; ever since I saw him compete in a local cheerleading competition when he was in high school," she said. "He received our Future Bronco Cheerleader Award at our annual summer camp and it has been a story of dedication and commitment to improving his cheerleading skill ever since. You can always count on Lee to help out with all the extras."

Zametria Moses - Junior, Marshville, NC

Zametria Moses (Jr., Marshville, NC) is a Business Administration major with a concentration in Marketing. She desires to obtain her real estate license and sell multi-million dollar houses upon graduation. Moses is a proud Bronco Ambassador for the Office of Admissions. She is also proud to have taken part in the National Urban League Conference Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP) Case Study in which the FSU School of Business captured second place out of the top three schools in the region. Moses currently holds a 3.31 GPA after posting a perfect 4.0 in the fall semester.

Miller describes Moses as someone who can do pretty much everything when it comes to cheerleading. Not only is Moses an excellent cheerleader for Cheer Phi Smoov, she is also a terrific student.

"Zametria is clearly one of the most talented flyers who have ever cheered for FSU," she said. "When it comes to cheerleading stunts - back tuck baskets, heel stretches, liberties, scales, scorpions, high splits - you name it, she has it all! Zee is not only a fearless flyer but an outstanding student in the classroom and team player. I am proud to have her on our team."
