  4/23/09 - Cheerleading FAYETTEVILLE STATE HONORS ITS STUDENT-ATHLETES AT AWARDS BANQUETFayetteville State University celebrated the accomplishments of its student-athletes at the 24th Annual All-Sports banquet, held on Tuesday evening (March 21) inside the Capel Arena. Junior L'Oreal Price (Raleigh, NC) and sophomore Richard Medlin (Raleigh, NC) were honored as the female and male Student-Athletes of the Year. Freshman Kristen Britt (Delco, NC) and Paul Murphy (Charlotte, NC) were this year's recipients of the Meritous Award. [+]  11/12/08 - Cheerleading TWO REPRESENT FSU ON THE ALL-CIAA CHEER SQUADFayetteville State University had two cheerleaders named to the 2008 Football All-CIAA Cheer Squad. The two standout selections were seniors Nikita Troy-Keel and Melia Johnson. [+]  9/4/08 - Cheerleading 2008-09 CHEERLEADING SEASONThe Bronco Cheerleading Squad begins their season in mid-August right after tryouts, which are held during the first week of the fall semester. The Squad consists of females and males who cheer at both home and away football and basketball games. [+] |
