The 2007 CIAA Bowling Champion Lady Broncos have been ranked number 13 in the nation by the National Tenpins Coaches Association (NTCA). In the last poll released this season, Fayetteville State University was ranked 15th. The overall ranking is based on the team game average. The NTCA is the voice and leadership of NCAA Bowling.

The Lady Broncos are ranked number one in overall win-loss percentage with 98%. The team has amassed a 55-1 overall record; which includes capturing the first CIAA Championship in school history; their fifth consecutive Western Divisional title, and winning the CIAA East/West Roundup.

FSU has an overall team average score of 921.7. At this year's CIAA Western Division Challenge, the Lady Broncos made Fayetteville State the first school in the CIAA to have a team bowl a score of 1000 or more. The team accomplished the feat for the second consecutive week at the roundup; including three 1000 plus baker's games in a row.

The Lady Broncos are 19-1 in baker's games; good enough for fourth in the win-loss percentage for baker's games category (95%). The team is ranked 14th for their 174.7 baker's game average score.

The second half of the Lady Broncos' season begins at the Florida A&M University Women's Bowling Invitational that will take place in Tallahassee, FL, February 7th-10th.
