June 27, 2007 Fayetteville, NC - The Lady Broncos' head bowling coach Robert Henderson announced Monday that Danielle Fecso and Akira Turner has signed to attend Fayetteville State University and become members of the bowling team. Fecso, a native of Michigan, graduate from Clarenceville High where she was all-conference and all-state in her junior and senior seasons. An honor student, Fecso was voted the team's Most Valuable Bowler three consecutive years. Turner, a Detroit, MI native, is a National Honor Society student; played volleyball, softball and bowl while attending Mumford High School. "We had a number of areas that we needed to address last year and I feel these two young ladies have the potential to make an impact right away," said Coach Henderson. "Both are competitive and posses the desire to take the program to the next level." Last season the Lady Broncos won the CIAA Western Division crown and finished ranked 16th in the National Tenpins Coaches Association (NTCA) Poll.
