The Lady Broncos posted a 10-5 mark in the Florida A & M University Rattler's Invitational and finished third in the three-day bowling tournament that took place in Tallahassee, FL. Fayetteville State University's Jessica Donnelly was named the tournament Most Valuable Bowler, finishing the event with a 204.2 average.

The Lady Broncos started tournament play with a 3-1 win over South Carolina State University. Fayetteville State followed with a 3-1 match loss to North Carolina A & T University. They returned to winning form against Winston-Salem State University, defeating WSSU 3-0. That match was followed by a 3-1-1 match loss to Bethune-Cookman College. The Lady Broncos closed tournament action with a 3-2 match win over Florida A & M University. This was the second consecutive tournament that matched the Lady Broncos against MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) schools.
