MERRY HILL - Virginia State's Greg Hunt scored a hole in one a front side par three that proved to be a difference maker for his team in final round action at the 2010 CIAA Golf Round Up.

Hunt and his team shot a 303 on Tuesday giving them a two-day total of 627, one stroke better than Fayetteville State University.

The Broncos headed into Tuesday's round with an 18 stroke lead but shot a 325 for a two-day total of 628. Chowan University finished 19 shots off the lead for a third place finish.

Saint Augustine's College finished fourth (341, 338) in the nine-team tournament followed by Virginia Union University (342, 362) in fifth place.

Elizabeth City State University shot 342 and 362 for a seventh place team finish and Saint Pauls College shot a two-day total of 1,053 to finish up in eighth place. (Johnson C. Smith had three players record individual rounds.)

Livingstone's Kenny Bethea took medalist honors after turning in a two day total of 144 (69, 75). Bethea was also named to the All Tournament Team.

VSU's Greg Hunt shot 147 (77, 70) and turned in today's low round to join Bethea on the All Tournament Team. Chowan's Calvin Wyrick shot a two-day total of 148 (75, 73) to lead his team and also earn a spot on the All Tournament Team.

VSU's Rashad Hunt and Brian Wood and Fayetteville State's Jedidiah Frazier round out the All Tournament Team.
