Final Stats
Charlotte, NC - The Fayetteville State University men's golf team shot a final round of 284 (564) and finished in first place at the CIAA Western Division Tournament that concluded on Wednesday at Charles T. Myers Golf Course in Charlotte, NC. The Broncos were in first day one and finished with a tournament scorecard of 280-284--564. The tournament was hosted by Johnson C. Smith University.
Sophomore Joel Lynn was the top finisher in the tournament. Lynn took the individual crown after finishing the tournament at 9-under-par 144. Senior Ian Milne and sophomore Jeremy Ringled finished in third and fourth place respectively with a score 140 and 143.
Virginia State's Jerel Whiting concluded the tournament in second with a score of 138. Enobong Udo of Johnson C. Smith finished in fifth with a 145 total. The top five finishers were named to the All-Tournament Team.
The Broncos will travel next to Jacksonville, NC for the 37th Annual Camp LeJeune Intercollegiate Golf Invitational at the Paradise Point Golf Course March 28th - 30th.
