MERRY HILL, NC - Fayetteville State University finished up with 303 team strokes to lead after day one play at the 2010 CIAA Golf Round up this afternoon at Scotch Hall Preserve Golf Club. All four top scoring players for the Broncos shot sub-80 rounds to get the top team score through first day play. Virginia State came in 18 strokes behind the Broncos at 324 for a second place day one finish and Chowan University sits in third place in the nine-team tournament with 330. Jedidiah Frazier led the way for the Broncos with the second lowest score of the day, a two over par (74). Matt Crescenzo and Jeremy Ringled finished at 75, while William McClure shot a 79. Today's low round was turned in by Livingstone College's Kenny Bethea who shot a 69.
