FAYETTEVILLE STATE CAPTURES SECOND TOURNAMENT WIN

Once again, it appears the Fayetteville State golf team will be a CIAA championship contender. One of the most successful programs in Fayetteville State history, the Broncos picked up their second tournament victory of the 2011-12 season, winning the Division-II Savannah State Tiger Fall Invitational last weekend. BRONCOS WIN FIRST GOLF TOURNAMENT OF THE SEASON

The Fayetteville State golf team kicked its season off in style on Monday and Tuesday. The Broncos, one of the elite golf programs in NCAA Division-II history, opened its 2011-12 season by winning the VSU Trojan Fall Classic, clearing second-place Winston-Salem State by 13 shots. [+]
