CIAA Football Media Day To Be Streamed On Bronco Broadcast

FAYETTEVILLE, NC -
The Fayetteville State Sports Information Department will provide a live video stream of the 2013 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association's Football Media Day via www.fsubroncos.com. The press conference, hosted by Winston-Salem State University, will be held in the new Donald J. Reaves Student Activities Center and will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 25.

The Football Media Day will serve as the conference's kick off to the 2013 season. Fayetteville State will play host to Virginia State on Sept. 7 at 6:00 p.m. in L.N. Jeralds Stadium.

The attending media will access to 16 CIAA student-athletes and the head coaches of the 12 member institutions.

The schedule is as follows:

10:00 a.m. - Welcome from CIAA Commissioner Jacqie Carpenter
10:15 a.m. - Student-athlete Interviews
11:00 a.m. - Intermission
11:15 a.m. - Welcome from Allen Joines, Mayor of Winston-Salem and Gerald Hunter, Vice Chancellor of Administration and Finance at Winston-Salem State University
11:30 a.m. - CIAA Predicted Order of Finish and Preseason All-Conference Team
11:40 a.m. - Coach Interviews
1:00 p.m. - Conclusion

The student-athletes will be interviewed in alphabetical institutional order, beginning with Bowie State and concluding with Winston-Salem State. The lineup of players will include:

Bowie State: Jared Johnston - Senior Quarterback; Delante White - Senior Defensive Back
Chowan: TJ Batchelor - Senior Defensive End; Robert Holland - Senior Wide Receiver
Fayetteville State: Michael Johnson - Junior Free Safety; Blade Shoop - Senior Offensive Lineman
Johnson C. Smith: Jimmy Dye - Senior Tight End; Justin Smith - Senior Defensive End
St. Augustine's: Kharea Roseboro - Junior Free Safety
Shaw: Darnell Evans - Senior Defensive Back
Virginia State: Andre Rawls - Junior Free Safety; Jaivon Smallwood - Sophomore Wide Receiver
Virginia Union: Devin Wallace - Senior Defensive Back; Matias Parker - Senior Wide Receiver
