CONCORD, NC - The Fayetteville State men's basketball team closes out the calendar year at Barber-Scotia on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.

FSU seeks a fourth consecutive win this season and a 7-2 overall record entering conference play Jan. 2 against Chowan.

The Broncos (6-2) are 9-2 all-time against Barber-Scotia. FSU has won the last seven meetings in the series and hasn't lost against the Sabers since 1976.

FSU enters fresh off an 84-81 against Virginia Union in which four players scored in double-figures and Juwan Addison made a crucial game-clinching steal in the final seconds.

THREE BRONCOS POST DOUBLE-FIGURES IN 76-63 VICTORY AT BARBER-SCOTIA
CONCORD, NC - The Fayetteville State men's basketball team had three players score in double-figures on Tuesday evening as it defeated the Barber-Scotia Sabers 76-63 at Newsom Gymnasium. Tyrrel Tate (Jr., Raleigh, NC) picked up his first double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Anthony Shelton (So., Cary, NC) provided 15 points. Andre Best (Sr., Raleigh, NC) also added 11 points.

The Broncos met Barber-Scotia twice last year, winning an 83-63 decision at Capel Arena on Nov. 12, 2012 and edging out the Sabers on the road, 76-63, on Dec. 11 of that year.
