Feb. 17, 2010 RALEIGH - Fayetteville State show a season-low 27.7 percent from the field en route to an 75-51 loss at Shaw on Wednesday. The Bears' Rodney Callwood made 14-of-15 free throws and had a game-high 22 points. Jamel Carpenter, the CIAA's leading scorer, had nine points for FSU (7-17, 4-14 CIAA, 2-7 Western Division) while Ariel Robinson and Seth Hawkins added eight each. Shaw led by nine, 32-23, at halftime and by as much as 28 in the second half. Sophomore guard Jarmel Baxter was 6-of-6 from the free-throw line for the Broncos. FSU will travel to St. Augustine's on Thursday before closing out the regular season with a home game against Virginia State on Saturday.
