Lawrenceville, VA - After a tough loss to Shaw on Thursday night in the final seconds of the game, Fayetteville State (11-6, 6-5 CIAA) faced a similar scenario in its conference matchup with Saint Paul's. Andy Gebru (Orlando, FL) hit the final field goal of the overtime period (with 11 seconds left) and a free throw (3 seconds left) to secure the 60-57 win of the Tigers (4-11, 1-8 CIAA). The Broncos held a 31-22 lead at intermission.

Darshawn Johnson (Brooklyn, NY) hit six for six at the free throw line and led the game with 18 points. Ariel Robinson was the only other Bronco that finished in double figures with 11. Andy Gebru had seven points and five steals while Eddie Brown collected ten rebounds. Fayetteville State shot 38.5% from the floor which was behind the Tigers 38.7%. FSU produced the win by making 64.3% of its free throws (9 of 14). The Broncos also had a 51-36 advantage in rebounds.

Ibn-Saed Rasoull led the Saint Paul's with 14 points along with Bruce Royal, who had 12, and Maurice Reevy, who finished with 11 points. The Tigers shot 42.9% (6 of 14) from the line and only had 15 turnovers to the Broncos 20. SPC had 23 points off of turnovers (Broncos, 13) although 14 of them where in the first half.
