FAYETTEVILLE STATE OFFERS ALUM ALPHONZA KEE THE MEN'S BASKETBALL COACH POSITION

Fayetteville State University has made an offer to alumnus Alphonza Kee as the 17th Head Men's Basketball Coach, pending Board of Trustees' approval, according to FSU Director of Athletics, Dr. Edward McLean. "We are pleased with the search and the outcome. We were able to identify a new head coach that understands the history and the future goals of FSU Athletics," said Director of Athletics, Dr. McLean. "His energy and commitment to the university will benefit the development of our program." [+]

FAYETTEVILLE STATE HONORS ITS STUDENT-ATHLETES AT AWARDS BANQUET

Fayetteville State University celebrated the accomplishments of its student-athletes at the 24th Annual All-Sports banquet, held on Tuesday evening (March 21) inside the Capel Arena. Junior L'Oreal Price (Raleigh, NC) and sophomore Richard Medlin (Raleigh, NC) were honored as the female and male Student-Athletes of the Year. Freshman Kristen Britt (Delco, NC) and Paul Murphy (Charlotte, NC) were this year's recipients of the Meritous Award. [+]
