Final Stats

CARY - The Fayetteville State men's team finished 9th at the CIAA Cross Country Championships on Thursday.

They were paced by Darrius Smith, the Broncos' top finisher. Smith completed the eight-kilometer course in 38:59.3.

In all, the FSU men had four runners (Smith, Courtney Slaughter, Delaurance Rudd and Terrell Allen) finish in the top 60.

The Broncos women finished in 8th place. They were led by senior Tressa Aughburns. The Fayettevile, N.C. native ran a career-best time of 24:20 to finish 34th.

Kenya Vice's 25:07 was good for 36th while Chr'essa Aughburns' 28:38 gave her 47th.
