April 24, 2007 Ettrick, VA - Fayetteville State University Outdoor Track and Field team concluded the 2007 season at the CIAA Spring Sports Championship held at Virginia State University in Ettrick, Virginia. Sophomore Edward Graham was the lone qualifier in the field events. He finished 12th in the shot put with a toss of 11.63m. He also qualified in the discus throw with a throw of 33.95m good for 10th place. In the track events, the men's 4 x 100 "A" relay team (Bobby Wilder, Darryl Barnett, Howard Fuller and Lucius McRavin) finished fifth in a field of eight with a 42.42 time. The 4 x 400 "A" relay team ran the distance in 3.26:54 for an eighth-place finish. The relay team consisted of Bobby Wilder, Alex McKnight, Ernest Cole, and Frank Bentley.
