Reid, Tate named as Broncos' top student-athletes of the year
Mita Patel joins the Fayetteville State University Athletic Training Staff in August of 2011, as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.
Patel joins the Broncos staff after spending a year as the Head Athletic Trainer at Tri-County Technical College in Anderson, South Carolina. While at TCTC, Patel was responsible for the coverage of Men's and Women's Soccer, Men's Golf and Women's Basketball.
Prior to her working at the Technical School, Patel completed three years at Clemson University, one as an Intern and two as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. She earned her Master's Degree in Human Resource Development during her time as a G.A. at Clemson. While working for the Tigers she covered the Swimming and Diving programs, as well as Women's Volleyball.
Patel earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Athletic Training from the College of Charleston in 2007. She is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), and licensed by the NC Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners (LAT).
A native of Halifax, England, she moved with her family to the United States in 2001. She currently resides in Fayetteville, NC.
